Universal Credit

Hi,
Is it normal for questions I leave on my journal to remain unanswered? I left one question when I made my claim and it got answered the next day. I asked about my first payment being on a Saturday and if it will be the previous day which remains unanswered. I asked on Scope and got an answer from Kimmie87. Also I followed a link another person on forum sent me to talk to CAB. I didn't tell them I already verified my ID online and I have a date for my first payment and can apply for advance if I need to. She said you need a job center appointment or you have to restart your claim again. I rang UC helpline. The man said " what are they talking about" and I didn't need to do anything as I verified my ID online and is in progress. He also answered my questions I left in journal. Can I ask is it normal to not get any contact from them at all during the five week wait? The man on phone said if they need anything from you they will message or call you. This is all making me feel ill. Thanks

Unless you have an assigned work coach getting messages answered can be hit and miss as they go to a service center not an individual.
The advice from UC was correct unless they need anything from you, then you won't hear anything from them.
Your id has been verified so you don't need to start a new claim.
Your claim is being processed in the background.
The next thing you hear from them might not be until your first payment statement.
A tip is payment statements are often available 1-2 days before the official due date.

Hi,
Thank You Kimi87. I feel better for that clarification. Could I just ask you about my FP57 form from earlier? I read if you haven't yet had your run on payment of IR ESA then You don't Nedd to have paid for prescription. Is this true? and because I have paid and get a refund do I still tick IB JSA? Thank You
