Hi have migrated over to universal credit and have the opportunity to move to new area and live with partner ( never claimed rent hall but would need to now ) what is the process one inform a change of circumstance i can not afford to have my benefits stop .
Am worried sick and already so anxious about all the changes that are happening I’ve have been in the support group for along time .

After you've moved you would need to update UC with:
Your new address
Your new housing costs
The change in your relationship status.
You will need to link your claim to your partners claim. If they don't already get UC they will need to start a claim.
UC would then be calculated on your entitlement as a couple.
Any Transitional Protection on your claim would end.

I was in support group for esa previously .. LCWRA group so no work related commitments.
Would I have to start a new claim or would my information still be valid ( partner works ) and this would be first time of asking for rental help .

Your partner would need to start a claim, and then you would link his new claim and your existing claim together.
Any entitlement would then be based on your joint circumstances as a couple.
