Hi @Tesstedd and a warm welcome to the community😄
I am just going to edit the title of your post slightly so it makes it easier for other members who have had a similar experience to find and offer support, hope that's okay!
It's lovely to have you here and I hope you enjoy your time in the community😁

Hi @Tesstedd, welcome to the community. If you use Facebook, the RNIB have some groups for anyone affected by sight loss:
Connect Facebook groups | RNIB
I'm not sure how active they are but there's various groups around the country so it might be worth a look ☺️

Morning. I am a retired solicitor and I receive Disability Living Allowance . I am helping several friends appeal decisions at the tribunal. They have got the lower amount of pip or no pip....failing by one point. I have signed Charlie Andersons petition and so have many of my friends. I have written to my and my "clients" mp.
I wish to know whether it is possible to get the dwp to reconsider at this late stage ie with the appeal pending. Two clients are very distressed and I am worried they will not make it to the tribunal . It seems rediculous for one point. One has MS and is struggling to continue a 4.5 day work because she is so fatigued. A other has very mental illness and alcoholism. Is another letter going to be worth a try please ?
