Major panick I didn't realise

I've sent my review statements off with my savings my issue is when I opened my uc few years back now I didn't have any savings at all 10 months later I opened a savings account as I got backdated lwrca my issue is I know you total what's in your savings and bank after every ap my ap is 1st to 31st I get benefits on the 7th at the end of jan I have 99 pound unspent do I add that to my 4k savings =40099 for that month.

Feb 31 if have 152 unspent +4k in savings I'd that 4152 for that month the start again I think ive really messed up somewhere please help anybody x

    You haven't messed up. Hopefully you'll get a reply from the UC review team soon telling you that it's all fine.

    You are right, £4000 in savings plus £99 in your current account means the total is £4099. It really is that simple.

    Ive just been toldsomething totally opposite its really scary is every ao a brand new total its not carried forward ive been crying all night some people are horrible kn them Facebook sites say they trying to help but I have bad mental health am i 100% doing this calculation right please x

    You've had repeated assurances here from multiple people that under £6k savings don't matter anyway. Please leave any groups who are making you so upset. Social media sites aren't the best place to get benefits advice anyway.

    Ive just received a message ive got an appointment nxt Friday at 12pm is the message they send everyone standard saying something about further evidence and dan take up to 60 mins

    That's a normal message @sophie2002, they'll be able to explain on the call what you need to do.

    I know it can be hard, but please try not to read too many sites as it can just add to the worry. You don't need to think about how to add up your income or savings at the moment as they will sort that and let you know if they have any questions.

    Hopefully once you've had the call things will feel more in control and you can relax a little 💛

    Yes this is totally normal. Stage two of the process.

    They will ask a series of scripted questions about other potential sources of money you might have, premium bonds, property etc.

    Then likely some questions about transactions on your statements.

    Afterwards you should receive a message that the review is complete.
