Carer support payment backpay and new UC claim

Hoping someone will have the answer that I have been searching for!
My partner and I have a joint claim that we only opened about a month ago. This is our first time claiming universal credit.
My partner is entitled to the Carer Support Payment (we are in Scotland), but due to some issues it hasn't been paid until now. We just learnt that they will be getting it back-paid to late 2023, so several £1000.
I know we will have to repay back the amount that we will have been overpaid for this last month (and we'll get less going forward), but what happens with the rest of the backpay?
With the rest of the money, does this get disregarded from our savings for the first 12 months like PIP/ADP do? Or will it count as regular savings from the start?

Hi,
As this is a Scotland specific question, it might be best to ask a benefits advice service in Scotland.
Carers Allowance backpay isn't disregarded because it counts as income (unlike PIP/ADP). So I would assume that CSP won't be disregarded either and will count as capital straight away.
