hi I have recently had my pip assessment for change of circumstances but I have not had a text to say dwp have received it? Is this normal after 4 days? Do you think I should call them to find out. I’m not sure the timeframe for this type of assessments as my original one was a quick turnaround, any help greatly appreciated. 😁 thank you!

I'd give it 4 working days then give them a call.

When I was moved over from DLA, I sent mine back recorded delivery so someone had to sign for it and I got notification via the Royal Mail app.

I'm filling in a change of circumstances PIP form too and I will also be sending that by recorded delivery.

ok, it was my telephone assessment with the health adviser so it’s there report I am waiting for them to send it (if they haven’t already). I haven’t received a text to say dwp have received it or about waiting for a new decision.

Change of Circumstances are a lot quicker than a normal review. I have read 12 weeks on this forum, but could be quicker.

Might I just say that there's absolutely no need whatsoever to send anything to the DWP by recorded delivery. Whilst appreciating that doing so gives some peace of mind, the cost of doing so isn't needed at all.

Mail to the DWP is received in a mailing centre where it's all signed for in bulk, & then takes time to get uploaded onto their computers when it's actually delivered to the DWP. Any response just shows it's only been received at the mailing centre, not by the DWP.

All you need is a free 'Certificate of posting' from your Post Office to prove (if ever needed) that you posted any mail to the DWP when you said you did.

The DWP don't always send a text to say they've received your assessment report @Em1 - if you want to ring to find out, tho as suggested I'd now wait until at least after Monday's Bank Holiday, then try first thing in the morning as waiting times are hopefully less then.

I will give them a call next week then and see what’s happening. Thank you!
