Hi

Hello everyone i am new to your online site & like to wish you all well .

i would just like your opinion on this if you could help please .

just migrated like asked to do by the DWP to UC 2 days ago from my ESA income related & Housing benefit with the help of my housing benefit officer .

I also get Esa Contributon based support group & pip .

I don't work unfortunately i am unable to due to physical & mental illnesses .

Yesterday i had a message on my Journal with the headline HEALTH

It said

You said your health affects you at work or prevents you from working.

You might need to have an assessment before we can consider if you will get extra money for this

I know it may not materialise but to see that still made me feel a bit stressed .

I thought it would be a straight forward thing with all means of protection adhered to & no queries that can set your mind of when your new to the goings on of UC.

Is this a normal statement that all see when 1st moving over to UC

thanks if you can give opinions or advice 👍️

At the moment the system has picked up on the health condition that you declared when applying.

It doesn't yet know you are migrating from ESA Support Group which gives you the UC equivalent (LCWRA) automatically without any assessment.

Once ESA confirm your award with UC you will be given LCWRA.

All claims to UC are treated as new claims so the automated messages etc assume that, they don't account for migrations.
