PIP Renewal

My son has recently received a PIP renewal form which has to be returned by 18th June and due to his mental health I am helping him fill it in.

Unfortunately we didn't keep a copy of the last renewal form and are unsure what points were awarded.

My question is this. My son's condition has not changed. I am worried about putting something in the form that will contradict something we put in the last renewal.

Am I safer to put not changed in every section and just give a brief description of how he is affected?

I hope someone can give me some advice on this matter.

No you need to treat it as a new claim and go into detail.

You can request a copy of the previous form by calling them or doing an online request

    https://secure.dwp.gov.uk/personal-information-request/name

but it's not guaranteed to arrive before the new one needs to be returned, although you can request extra time by calling PIP.

@Welshy1952 Excellent post from Kimi. All I would add is do not state "no change"....

    Thank you both.

Trevor _PIP may I ask why I shouldn't use that phrase?

I don't want them thinking I am angling after an increase in the award. How do I indicate that his condition is the same as the last time it was reviewed?

    Hello @Welshy1952.

You can say "There has been no change" but it is not advised to only put that. Evidence that there has been no change with some recent anecdotes or information.
