PIP Review 2 seperate phone calls
Hi, I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced the same. My review was due February but they extended due to the backlog. I recieved a phone call last Tuesday out of the blue 0800 number she asked a couple of questions surrounding things that I need assistance with she was prompting me more to say the things that my mum helped with. It lasted about 5 mins.
Then today another call from 0800 she said she was from dwp case manager about my award and asked questions too. She said she had it that I hadn't worked for 4 years which is incorrect, I have always said I have worked but sometimes from home. She again prompted me about things my mum helped with. This call was about 5 minutes too.She said the call last Tuesday was the assesor and she was different.
I'm confused as to why 2 people called has anyone else experienced this?
I suffer from bi polar and anxiety and have done for over 20 years but only started claiming pip around 3 years ago.

Hi,
The assessor makes an assessment and recommendation. Then the case manager checks their report to make the proper decision.
It is uncommon to get a phonecall from both places, but doesn't mean anything bad.
