Question

good evening
i am visional learning style but I am not very good at drawing because I need to learn and concepts to help understand better myself what I am learning about particular subject because I have tried writing my own notes but this method doesn’t work or help me understand the concepts on the subject I am trying to learn about at the moment I struggle to draw pictures by hand on paper due to my cerebral palsy affects both my hands
Has anyone used any kind of free software that works and capable with Mac Pro to help with this sort of thing any suggestions would please be greatly appreciated thanks in advance to the scope online community.❤️

Hi there@Globster, I don't know too much about visual learning software, but I have a lot of experience helping students find solutions to their learning obstacles. Have you tried talking your concepts, or, more specifically, dictating them instead of writing notes? Could do this via your phone. Additionally, can you make spider diagrams to link concepts? (or, brand new concept!- talking 'spider' links)? BTW, I'm a retired associate professor in educational development.
I'm happy to mentor. Let me know, and best of luck with your studies.
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

hi @Globster
Your post popped up on my email and I thought I’d visit the forum and see if I could help
I don’t have the answer on the top of my head - however my autism also makes me a visual learner, both my hands have CT and I’ve been using macs all my life so may know some software that may help once I have a little more info on your situation
Can I ask what subject/topic your are studying and also does your hand mobility make it okay to use a keyboard and mouse (or at least more comfortable then a pen/pencil on paper)?

@Globster Your welcome listen you if ever need a chat you can talk to me as i myself have cerebral palsy and know what's it like to study. I had to go through the same kind of thing when I was at school with my GCSE's I'm glad say that I passed them with flying colours and I'm confident that you will too keep up the hard work. @pooleemily29 ❤️😀

@Globster Oh its @pooleemily29 bless you 😂 I do understand how hard it us for you to keep typing. It must be difficult! Geez I can just about manage with my left hand as that's my only strong hand. I'm always here if you need to talk or need a hand with the English thing. I use to love English when I was at school now I write fictional stories for a hobby. Sending you my very best wishes Emily ❤️
