Pip review

Hi, I had to have a pip review telephone assessment 2 weeks ago it lasted 2 hours and I asked for it recorded. I asked the assessor if she had my mountain of evidence I sent in to which she replied ‘ oh they’ll probably have it’? I was told I could ask for a copy of the assessors report 48 hours later and contacted the dwp who said they hadn’t received it yet and I asked why the assessor didn’t have my medical evidence which they couldn’t understand. They told me to contact the assessor which I did, they told me my report has to be reviewed by them before being sent to the dwp and this could take some weeks yet. I asked for my recording and they said I can only ask for this once my report has been sent off. Is this correct? I’m at my wits end and my anxiety is taking over

Hi
Yes that is correct.

Everywhere else is saying they should’ve sent me the recording already, that’s why I thought I’d ask in here

Hi @feebee74 - I don't profess to know the answers to all this but it sounds like your report may have been sent to audit. This meams the quality of your assessment is being looked at. Absolutely nothing you've done wrong rather the assessor's report is being looked into to make sure it's of good quality.
Unfortunately this delays your assessor's report reaching the DWP, so may be the reason why they haven't been able to send you the recording as yet.
Any evidence you've sent in will have been received with your claim form.
Such delays are obviously worrying, but hopefully it won't be too long before the DWP receive your assessor's report, & you their recording.

Hi @chiarieds,
Thankyou for your reply, that puts my mind somewhat at ease. The assessors didn’t seem to really have a clue on the 2 occasions I’ve rang but I guess I’ll just wait it out.
