Help! What is going on with my PIP claim?

Hello, I had my telephone assessment nearly 2 weeks ago but DWP still hadnt received the report when i called.
Ive woke up just to a text from DWP saying a Heath Care Professional is looking at your claim and they will contact you with an appointment if they need to.
I cant go through another assessment! It was awful. What does this text mean? My anxiety is through the roof!

does it mean i will have to have another assessment? Im literally sat here crying and panicking. I dont think i could cope with another assessment. The last one lasted an hour and a half. Then my report went to audit.
I think I will just cancel my claim if i have to go through that again.☹️

Hi @Kez2207
The text you received is standard and usually means your case is being reviewed, it doesn't mean that that another assessment is definitely happening. It just means they are looking at your claim and will only contact you if more info is needed, hope that puts your mind at ease😊0 -
I have just called DWP and the lady has basically told me to ignore the text and it could have been sent in error as its showing on their system that my assessment has been done and they are waiting for the report and to just wait for the text to say they have received the report and that the report could be in audit which is why it is taking so long.
I am so confused!
I know my assessor was fairly new.
