Pip call before tribunal??

I have started the appeal process for pip I'm in receipt of this but not at the award I should have been , I have been waiting for the DWP to respond, I received a call from them today asking further questions the lady said they was hoping the call would be advantageous to me in the hope it didn't have to go to tribunal this was at 9am then at 4pm I received a notification that pip had responded to the tribunal, this was Thier first response .
I have 2 questions if anyone can help
Can this response be a revised decision or offer ?
And can this response be a favourable offer before contacting me ?
There are so many posts online saying yes and no , this has been going on for a year or so now and it's frustrating within that call the DWP realised that they had evidence from myself that wasn't mentioned in the assessment report ect ect
Can anyone advise
Thankyou

Hi @dy1987 it's hard to say for sure until you hear back but from what you've said (especially the fact they'd referred to it as advantageous), it sounds more promising than not. Really hope you get some good news soon. I'm sure it will be a relief if you don't have to go to tribunal. Please keep us updated if you're happy to 🙂

Thankyou for your response, it just seemed odd to me that I would have a phone call in the morning, then in the afternoon they respond to the tribunal,
So is it still possible that someone will call me even if they have responded to the tribunal , or can the response be the advantageous to me ...

It's difficult to say for sure until you hear back (however that may be). Sorry, I know it's not ideal and you probably just want to know either way what's going to happen which is completely understandable given how long you've been going through this process. I hope you hear back soon.
