Hi @079 Sue, and welcome to the community! If the proposed changes go ahead as planned in 2026 then it is likely whatever that looks like will effect you. We're not 100% what that's going to look like yet though, and a lot of work is going into fighting the initial green paper proposals. Is your review due now?

yes just waiting for paperwork, I know they behind, so who knows when they arrive. It’s just such a cruel thing, would they like a pay cut, no they’d make a fuss for sure

Hello Sue, and welcome to Scope.
Since you are retired, you will receive the AR2 form, which is a light touch review designed specifically for pensioners. This form is much shorter than the standard PIP review and has just 16 questions.
Pensioners are not routinely reassessed, and the new AR1 form starting November 2026 will also assess people's capability for work, which does not apply to retired people. The DWP is still considering how the new rules will apply to pensioners who report a change in their condition, but if your condition has stayed the same, your award should continue as normal with light touch reviews.
I have included a link below so you can see a sample of the AR2 form. If you are worried, I would recommend speaking to Age UK for advice.
