@RanaldI think it's supposed to be nice again next week. No thunder here yet was forecast for 3pm then 6pm. Does it bother your dog? I have to play music to distract these but that's no hardship.

We need to remember who wrote the Balfour Declaration, dismembered the Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires, then supported the collapse of the USSR and the Eastern Bloc, bombed Yugoslavia and Libya... don't you remember? But they remember it very well.

    "... don't you remember?"

Doubtful. Some people are having difficulty remembering the 14 years before this one..

Gus isn't in the least bit bothered, nor with fireworks.

I live near both a railway line and MOD firing range. He has grown up with noise.

Ah that's good, funny enough my two girls are generally fine but the two boys get upset/quite vocal. I say to them, empty vessels make most noise but it goes over their little heads bless them ๐Ÿ˜…. There was no thunder in the end!

For those who don't remember well, they are building monuments to the British invasions.

There was a bee on the grass massive but it couldn't move I got spoon little bit water sugar left by it must have worked as it was gone is it me or does it seem less bees ?? Last year I had tubs like ponds with solar lights they attracted foxes for drinking water they wrecked my garden chewed through wires solar lights took one of my slippers I thought someone had a vendetta against me was so scared and one night I looked out window fox trotting around the garden ๐Ÿ˜… oh and dug a den I put orange peel lemon peels and spices on the den I see the fox come back came back many times that night for the den I felt bad but read they have about 3 dens elsewhere I bet you wanted to know all that lol ๐Ÿ˜†

Ha ha no, I like to know all that, especially your slipper ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ, maybe the fox eyed it up as a little bed for it's cub ๐Ÿฅฐ (not saying you've got big feet ha ha). I've definitely not seen as many bees this year.

I bought a sonar type gadget to deter next door's cat coming in which worked but one of my dogs was affected by it and wouldn't go out so I turned it off after a couple of days, she must have bionic hearing but I don't want her hearing harmed or hurt the cats either. I think its rosemary bushes that might deter cats but need to Google it.

Hope you've had a good day and peaceful day @Catherine21. I wonder if there's something you can put up against fence to stop the signal getting through (like piece of metal but could be unsightly). I don't think they're very humane tbh mines still in the ground but turned off. I need to just get rid of it, waste of 40.00.

I call my dog 'happy ears' as she hears what she wants to hear (me) ha ha. Goodnight and I hope you sleep well xx
