Do the maths for me @sarah_lea12 .
Insurance companies are businesses. Their goal is to make money. Why do you think medical insurance is limited or hugely expensive for people with preexisting conditions?
Current CB-ESA claimants receive £140.55 per week based on NI contributions or credits. How much would @YogiBear @luvpink and I have to pay in to a third-party scheme to get that sum out?
Current claimants will simply lose their NI based benefit after a short period unless there is an ammendment when this becomes another Bill.
The people insurance companies want are those that are fighting fit now, gamely voting Reform, and never dreaming a massive stroke is a few years away.

I am a bit too old and in ill health for anyone to insure me.
Its a ludicrous idea and if we lose our benefits/income we wouldn't be able to pay for it anyway.

Hello Scope.
Please bring over the post left by Kindness which mentions a specific age group likely to be affected more than most of us.
22 year olds and under face additional cuts and for longer!!! Think about it. Remember that children can't speak for themselves.
