I started to receive Attendance allowance in February 2025 as well as State pension & Pension credit, I’ve been worried about whether I should have contacted the council to see if I now need to pay rent or council tax, could someone give me some advice please, Thankyou in advance.

Welcome! 😄
If you're worried, then I think the best thing to do would be to contact the council. If you made a mistake, they'll understand.
Otherwise, hopefully someone educated on this subject will comment with actual advice.

Hi,
You can continue to claim Housing Benefit above state pension age so that is unlikely to have changed.
Each local council has their own rules for Council Tax Reduction. That might be calculated differently on your new benefits, but I wouldn't expect it to be. It's probably best to let them know about your change of benefits just for your own peace of mind.
