Hi everyone, just joined the community. My autistic daughter who gets DLA will be 16 in a few months. I've received the letter about whether she needs an appointee. She and I have discussed this and she is happy that I be her appointee due to her needs. There is just space on the form for 1 para to give an explanation as to why I should be her appointee. Is just topline generally sufficient - ie working memory problems, executive function, demand avoidance, anxiety, situational mutism etc or should I really be giving lots of detail to support each of these at this stage? I presume when we get the actually PIP forms through that is where we go into proper detail and provide professionals letters to support etc. Thankyou.
