Gp's in England and fit notes
New trials are to begin in 15 counties in England. Doctors will be instructed to give advice to patients on getting back to work instead of issuing fit notes. This will consist of advice in career coaching or exercises to reduce the number of people who are signed off work sick.😠

Yawn, the "tailored support" rubbish again, just like Cameron and Osborne.
Some 22 yo " work coach" getting folk to muck about with their CV and fruitlessly search for the work that doesn't want disabled people.

Helping people get back to work IS a lovely idea and something I think many disabled folk would like help with. But if you're wanting a sick note because you've broken your arm, I fail to see what good career coaching will do? I'll be waiting to read some official reports on this.
