Transfer from esa, to uc
Hi everyone,
I've received a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) requiring me to transition to Universal Credit from my employment support allowance Prior to this transition, I was receiving £489.50 every two weeks under the ESA , Group Support ,
I have several questions regarding this transition:
1. Will the amount I receive change or decrease under Universal Credit?
2. Will my previous ESA (Employment and Support Allowance) assessment be re-evaluated, or will it continue as is?
3. What are the next steps I need to take? Should I wait until the last week of the notice period before applying for Universal Credit?
4. Any advice on navigating this transition would be greatly appreciated, as I'm feeling anxious and uncertain about the process.
Thank you for your guidance and support.
