Africa and the carribean are indeed hotter, but for some reason more copable and have a different kind of heat than ours. Our summers feel sweaty and close like theres no air. abroad is a more nice dry copable heat.

Out enjoying it as much as I can.
I live in a popular tourist seaside town and people pay a lot of money to stay here and I am only 5 minutes walk from the town and beaches.

17C and pouring rain. This is more like the mixed weather i remember. Warm one day, cool and rainy the next.
I got soaked out with Gus last night, scooters not really designed for UK weather, it would be better in California!

I have no problem with the rain, I have all the gear, but it's more the lump of electronics and batteries i worry about. The dog doesn't give a stuff either!

They go on and on, up until they don't, like with most things.
The water corrodes switches, battery terminals etc, and the engineer who came out last time for a tyre change, he said that is the biggest problem he attends to is corrosion caused by exposure to moisture. One day they turn the key and nothing happens.
My insurance policy insists that it is kept in a dry, well ventilated place, and not outside for more than 12 hours a day. It's a bloomin' great lump of a thing to keep in the living room!

You are very lucky that you were able to train yourself, and develop muscle. I don't envy anyone, but I certainly wish I had been given that ability.
