Hi, my name is AliMJ! Son awaiting WCA, still being asked to attend appointments.
I have a query regarding Jobcentre plus, my son is disabled he has a genetic condition that runs in the family it involves the spinal cord and joints it limits growth and is a painful condition. He also suffers from mental health due to the possibility of undiagnosed Autism he struggles to communicate with people and despite me trying to get him diagnosed for years our doctor as referred him. He has never claimed UC before we have supported him he is 24 now and for the first time we have approached Jobcentre for help, we have filled in a application for LWCRA he has limited mobility and sick notes have been provided to Jobcentre, despite this he is having to wait for a decision on his LWCRA and is having to have fortnightly appointments with Jobcentre. These appointments are labelled as health support appointments but are anything but health support the last appointments we had to ask for a video appointment due to his difficulty in getting to the Jobcentre. They guy he spoke with was not understanding at all and it’s as if his sick note means nothing he felt very down and depressed after having years of no one taking him seriously about his possible Autism he now feels they are not taking him seriously with his physical disability. Can anyone make any suggestions as to what we can do.

The Work Capability Assessment process unfortunately takes a lot of time, and having a Fit Note doesn't override the DWP.
You can make an online complaint about the expectations and treatment from his work coach
Work coaches have some discretion while awaiting an WCA outcome, but generally they can treat people essentially as job seekers until the result.
