Hi, my name is nonnie! How long does it take to hear back from ESA after first claiming?

I applied for ESA six weeks ago and have heard northing.
I called today and was told it is still waiting for somebody to look at it.
Is this normal and how long do people normal wait until they get a reply from them.

Hi @nonnie, it can take up to around 12 weeks. Hopefully you'll hear back sooner than that though.
