UC + NSESA transitional protection

Hi all,

I have yet another question about Universal Credit Migration.

I have just been migrated from IR ESA and now am on UC and New Style ESA.

My query is such at the point of migrating I am doing 10 hours a week permitted work.

My transitional protection means I am not losing anything, however, of course as I get housing costs, work allowance on UC is a measly £410 per Month, whilst permitted work would have allowed over £800 before a breach of the rules. So my question is, if I do another hour a day say, within the permitted rules of old and new style ESA, does my UC get further deducted or am I transitionally protected and can keep that extra hours pay as if under the old system?

All earnings over the £411 Work Allowance will be deducted at 55p per £1. Transitional Protection does not apply here.
