For any of you night owls, there'll be meteor showers over the next few weeks!

The BBC have an article on where to look to have the best chance of seeing them:

Perseid Meteor Shower 2025: How and when to see it - BBC Weather

It says that you'll see them best in clear skies away from light pollution, most visible after midnight and before the sun rises.

You'll need to find the constellation called Perseus. If you're not sure where that is, I recommend downloading a constellation app on your phone. You can often hold them up to the sky and it'll show you what each constellation is which is pretty cool in itself!

Not sure if I'll get to see anything as the light pollution is quite bad in my area, but I hope some of you might be able to spot some 🌟

Hopefully we'll have some clear skies this year.🤞 I have bad light pollution here too, but still manage to see the space station when it's on the right path & the odd satellite & shooting star.

ETA: This is a good ISS tracker if you want to know what's in our sky & also if the spacestation is visible to you https://isstracker.spaceflight.esa.int/

Fingers crossed @JessieJ! At least it's over a stretch of a few weeks so hopefully there'll be some clear nights where it's visible 🤞
