in Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)

Hi.i will be receiving new style esa on the 23rd of July along side universal credit. Will my housing element still be the same as if I was only receiving universal credit. Thanks

    Yes.

    Your UC statement will show your entitlements added up, then a deduction for New Style ESA (£609.05, which is the monthly equivalent).

    The amount of money you'll get is exactly the same, the difference being instead of it all coming from UC, it will come from both UC & NS ESA.
