Not able to find a new home, because I am on benefits
For a few months, my daughter and I have been trying to find a new home and were consistently ignored because we are DSS/we both have health issues and can not work,/.Even is they say they will consider us ,they never do and prefer working indidviduals before us. How do we manage with that situation and how do we find a home? We are already 3 months later than the date we had to move out.

It's a really difficult one @June1234, there is still so much discrimination going on in housing. Landlords and agents are still quite wary of anyone on benefits even though many people are totally able to pay the rent and have never been a problem in the past. It's so frustrating.
Are you mostly looking through agents or have you been contacting landlords directly? Places like OpenRent might be good to try if there's anything listed in your area.
Shelter have some advice too:

Are you registered for your council's housing? I realise the waits can be really long, but it's worth signing up if you haven't already. And if you're facing becoming homeless they may be able to help find a temporary solution.
Hope you can find something soon!
