Little things can mean so much

I had to go out this morning, for a steroid injection into my shoulder. Wasn't really anxious, but not looking forward to it. Pulled my front door closed & there was something stuck to my door. Someone had left me a sweet message… " Stay! For just one more day! Read this again tomorrow! You are loved more than you know! ❤️" I haven't got a scooby who did it, but, my roll to the Drs was a brighter for it.

Thats lovely, i wonder who did it @JessieJ
How is your shoulder after your injection?1 -
Hiya @Mary_Scope
It was lovely & I'm not sure that I'll ever find out, a rather special way to start a day though. Had another lovely happening late afternoon, my neighbour knocked the door holding a plate of food he'd cooked. It was something he just put together & along with his wife & daughter, I was a guinea pig. They're Polish, so what they eat is different to my norm & I do enjoy trying their surprise offerings.
My shoulder doesn't feel too bad, thanks for asking, hopefully a lot easier in the coming days.

That's nice @JessieJ
It's interesting how little stuff makes such a disproportional impact
I think the fact there is nothing to gain by anonymously being kind to one person (as opposed being intentionally overt) makes it all the more genuine to a natural cynic like me

I would have cried if I had that message @JessieJ, how lovely and thoughtful of someone!!!!

It sure is, @66Mustang & I agree, the fact that I don't & may never know who it was from does make it genuine. Such an out of the blue, anonymous gesture is quite amazing & I did tear up, @Biblioklept ☺️
