Will applying for student finance now for a course next year affect benefits straight away?

I have been offered a place on a master course due to start next year. I have been told to apply for student finance and disabled student allowance. I am really concerned and worried that if I apply now, DWP will be informed straight away and might stop my benefits.
I get UC and LCWRA and have done for two years. I have been applying for part time work all year and not had one interview. I have decided to return to education as I feel ready as it’s a two day a week course which I feel able to commit too.
Will DWP be informed of my student finance application and assume a change of circumstances? I am several months away from the course start date and not being able to find work worries me they will automatically stop my claim and I’ll be without money 😢
has anyone been in this situation?
Thank you

UC and studying is a complex area, I'd recommend contacting Disability Rights UK who have a Disabled Students Help service

thank you for your comment. I have sent them an email as I have noticed they are only open for a couple of hours every other day.
This question is not about me wanting to stay claiming benefits and studying. It was more so what would happen now to my claim if I applied to student finance for a course due to start next year. I asked the same question on Reddit and everyone is telling me I cannot claim when studying which wasn’t what I was trying to ask. I know I cannot claim (unless I am on PiP) and study. Thanks for the above link 🙂
