Good health to all! The situation is unclear to me: I was refused ADP. I filed an appeal to the tribunal. During this time, 1) GP confirmed chronic diseases since 2017 2) LCWRA 3) Conclusion of the consul's physiotherapist from the housing commission about the problem with mobility 4) An independent certified consul's commission issued a Blue Badge. (ADP refused me without a call, gave 4 points for everyday life and 4 points for mobility) It turns out absurd ... Four doctors, during a face-to-face check, make a conclusion about my physical problems and give me a Blue Badge, and ADP does not see this without talking to me.

    Hi,

Do you have a specific question? Are you gong to tribunal? I'm currently in that process, myself.

I assume ADP are the assessors? I don't recognise that acronym.

I had to google it, think it is Adult Disability Payment (ADP) a benefit in Scotland for working-age adults with disabilities or long-term health conditions. It replaced Personal Independence Payment (PIP) in Scotland.

    • As far as I understand, getting a blue badge is not linked to benefits, I know my godfather, has a blue badge, but is not able to qualify for benefits, gl with your tribunal, hope you are able to challenge their decision.

I would suggest watching some of the utube videos about applying for PIP as I recently discovered that using the wrong wording can result in automatic failure in some instances when applying for PIP.

Hi @LoveLife just wanted to bolt on to the last comment, if you're concerned about preparing for your tribunal you could reach out to a benefits advisor for some advice. Turn2us and Citizens Advice offer a service. I wish you the best with your tribunal.
