Hi Anxious Claimant well done coping with all that pressure during your "PIP" telephone call . I am pleased that it went well for you , try and relax a bit now , listen to some music , watch a good film , read a good book ,have a milky hot drink before bed time ,ring a member of your family or a friend and have a catch up. I have many medical issues which have plagued me for the last 18 years . Various mental health issues and I am also disabled a wheelchair user with chronic arthritis in my back , ankles , knees . I have regular Carer's coming in through the day to help me with personal care , shopping , laundry , cleaning my bungalow , taking me to "Mind " on Thursday's etc. All the very best , from " Man On Fire ."

Thanks so much! All good advice, trying so hard to relax. In my own case, having been awarded PIP for the next two years, I am going to use this time to work very hard to resolve my anxiety (as much as I possibly can), and build up more work (which I have lost due to it), so that at the end of my PIP period I don't need to request an extension, rather resume some kind of 'normality' in the scheme of my life. I consider this to be a really great gift (not one that I don't deserve, but I feel fortunate to be in a position within which I can try to help myself, with the help of some financial security).
But, the next few days are going to be focused on relaxing, until Wednesday, I have been so, so unwell recently :/

Excellent news @AnxiousClaimant and it's good to see you're already making plans. Anxiety can be lessened with time and practice, it certainly helps when you're not worrying about your benefits for every waking hour! Onwards and upwards. ❤️

Thanks Albus :) I'm so determined to use PIP as a means of getting better, I'm already undertaking a course of CBT and will keep working at it, I don't want to reach the end of this two year period without having at least tried as hard as I can. It's been pretty bad, though, difficult to overstate how difficult my life has been to navigate over the last five years or so (but I know most people in this forum will understand, and have been or be where I am, which is why I feel so happy to be here). I just don't want to waste the chance PIP is providing me to make progress, I guess :) Thanks so much for your comment, hope you having a good start to the week :)

You're very welcome and thank you too! It reminds me of how much anxiety I had from applying for PIP (Aug 2022), MR, then Tribunal in March 2024. Every single day!! I somehow think I won't be as stressed when it comes to Review next year or 2027 but time will tell! I hope you have a good week now you can feel it's one major thing behind you, one less thing to have to focus your precious time on. Very warmest wishes to you.
