new UC claim
Hi, ive been off unable to work with as yet an undiagnosed condition, still under investigations which is causing me immense pains in the stomach and abdomen so limits my movements 24/7 for 8 months now im getting paid by my company at the moment, as i get a year full sick pay which ends in December, MY 28 weeks ssp is up now but i am still getting the same amount, full pay from my employer, they havent sent my ssp1 form as yet, can i submit what would be a new claim right now for uc ( i understand it has to be a joint request with my partner who works 10 hours a week part time) do i need the ssp1 form to submit my request and should i do it asap or do i have to wait ? regards. Paul.

Hi,
You won't be able to claim UC while still getting full pay from your employer.
You could claim New Style ESA instead, but will need the SSP1 form for that.
