International Dog Day 🐶

It's International Dog Day! 🐩
Here we go again. Another excuse to share pet pictures, but who's complaining when they're this cute?!
International Dog Day was created in 2004 to celebrate dogs and encourage people to think about adoption and responsible dog ownership.
It's also a great opportunity to celebrate all those dogs with jobs that help disabled people day to day. From Guide Dogs to service dogs and medical alert dogs, there are so many hard working hounds around helping to make the world a more accessible place for disabled people.
But of course, even those without official jobs can make a life-changing difference to your well being.
So in honour of this glorious day, please do share any pictures of your canine companions. Or anyone else's canine companions. All dog pictures are welcome here 🐕️

An excuse to post photos of dogs? Count me in!
(This is actually a photo of me at work. )
Come on folks, let's see all your four legged friends. Or even photos of your friends' dogs will do. 😁

This was posted on August 4th?? Why didn't I see this and why does it have no posts??
Jenson helped me water the flowers a little while ago

Rosie had written the discussion in advance, so it'll say whichever date it was started on @66Mustang but today is the doggo day!
It's great to see Jenson's doing well and is still being super helpful. 😊

Love any sort of day where we all get to see dog photos!!
This is my little bichon on his 12th(!!!!) birthday in June this year😄3 -
Haha yes he is @Grumpy1314! We always say in my house that we never know dogs could be so dramatic until we took him in😄
I really hope your dog is okay, he seems like a very strong and loving dog.
That sounds like a great idea, I hadn't heard of that programme before but that sounds it could be a game changer for a lot of people!1 -
It's funny isn't it, how they're non-vocal, but in many ways they're better and more explicit than us when communicating
They'll just say what they want… "I'd like you to look at me, rather than that book, please"
No prize for guessing what Jenson is asking for here

Oh you know I am always happy to see Jenson @66Mustang 😍
I should probably post some pics of my dudes later!0 -
I love his nickname @Grumpy1314
I did a double take when I saw the Wagg treats on the shelf… the "W" was covered up, looks like a naughty magazine 🫣

Dog spam incoming! Here we will see the glorious old men that are Albus Grumblebork, Baldrick T Doombringer and Rufus aka The Doof/Doofy.
Fun fact; Baldrick is now the only member of the pack that can walk more than 40 meters without needing a day to recover. 😆

I don't think it's possible to qualify as spam if there are dogs that cute in the pic @Albus_Scope ❤️
Blatant name drop incoming but … I took this pic to ask on a group I go to if anyone wanted some posh tea I didn't like … and look who was in the picture… he gets everywhere 🙄

Jenson definitely nags for treats
Sadly everyone gives in so he just learns to do it more 😂
