PIP decision- what will it mean
Long story short I had the world's longest and messiest PIP review culminating in tribunal. My award was changed to lowest rate of mobility (I originally had high care/low mobility) and have been advised to fight for care on next review. Simple question; husband gets enhanced PIP for care/mobility, I claim care component for him ( a recent addition brought in because of forced migration to UC),he is in support group esa (or whatever the heck they call it now) (income and contribution based recently rolled into universal credit). I'll presumably get my 29 quid a week monthly, but will this have any other knock on effect? Presume there won't be any more money in it!! Sorry to bother you good people but I'm hopeless with social security. For the record I had wonderful help from my local welfare rights, without whom I think it would have been a worse outcome, although they think I woz robbed so to speak. Live to fight another day. Thanks for your continuing help on here and good luck to you all in these trying times x

Your PIP award won't impact your Universal Credit award at all, so nothing added nothing taken away.
