Housing rental payment

So I moved into my home on the 3rd of march changed my address etc on the UC portal after months of chasing them and uploading the documents they have asked for to be told it's with a team to be verified then to be told it's the job centre issue they need to verify it then passed back and forth and now to be told it's back with the job centre and I have an appointment to show them my tenancy agreement and a letter from my landlord etc this has been going on for 5 months now and I've struggled every month had to borrow money to pay rent etc will they now back pay once everything is verified and will they issue a same day pay out so I can pay back the people I have borrowed money from? As you can imagine this has caused me so much stress chasing them and my case manager throughout the whole time has just said it's with a different team she is unable to chase it up and I have to wait and now to find out it's just going to be a trip to the job centre.

You will get back payment, once it's all been processed a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to underpayment. The money will then be paid within a few working days.

I would also consider a formal complaint, it's unacceptable they are taking so long to pay your rent.
