Yes, but I can't watch this!

I switched off less than 10 minutes into the programme feeling a bit seasick.

There's constant motion, bright colours, lots of hand-flapping by the presenter. I don't like his voice, I didn't like him borrowing the line about 'if you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism'. I don't like this production!

Is anyone else watching or planning to watch? I'd really like to know what others think.

I can't tell you how much I hate normal TV. I'm used to watching everything on online through youtube and things but thought I'd take a watch as was intrigued. I turned it off within 5 mins as the constant switching, and dragging things out.

Like just get to the point please. I hate TV for giving us 5 minutes of information stretched out to 30-40mins.

For someone with Autism and ADHD they didn't really make it neurodiverse friendly.

@WhatThe I agree about those things, especially the populist stuff they repeat like the line you quoted, haha!

It's a shame as that line is supposed to inform people that everyone with autism is an individual… yet it's the most unoriginal, repetitive churned out line everyone is using at the moment, which kind of defeats the point

@rubin16 My only question would be, having not watched it, is: is it aimed at people without neurodiversity? That might explain why - to us - it's 5 mins worth of knowledge in an inaccessible format. Maybe for someone with no experience it might be worth a watch; even if it's primarily entertainment but as a side effect they end up getting a bit of an education from it, I guess that's a good thing

Thank you both - I'm completely normal then! Perhaps if you can watch to the end, you're probably not ADHD?

I didn't explain what I didn't like about his use of the quote. He said "As the saying goes.." then used ADHD instead of autism.
