(Re) Introducing myself

Hello! My name is Heartman. I wanted to (re) introduce myself here as i've been absent from the community for a while.
I was diagnosed with psychosis in my mid-twenties, so, as you can imagine it's been a tough road. I am 41 now. I'm here to connect with others - I'm really into playing the guitar, forgiveness, reading and art.
All the best

Welcome 😊
You sound creative… not the nicest for you I'm sure but I know mental health issues produce some of the best minds in art/music and stuff
I find my overactive mind creates all sorts of hideous and distressing thoughts, but once in a while comes up with a useful or practical idea
Sadly the distressing stuff outnumbers the breakthroughs though 😆

Hi @Heartman welcome back to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time here. Any questions just ask.
Have a look around and join in when you are ready.
Take care.

Hi….keep up the playing . I used to play and paint too. My MD condition got much worse and had to give up both and driving car etc. But I’m good with that having been there in the past. I can’t walk either but the ‘challenges’ create another interest and ‘don’t let the challenges push you down…..rise above it and fight’ always helps.

Welcome back from me too @Heartman ☺️ What kind of things do you like to play on your guitar?

Thanks for the warm welcome all.
Recently i'm really into playing the acoustic guitar, so I've been playing contemporary folk tunes. I used to really enjoy playing alternative rock on my electric guitars but as the years have passed and i've matured in my tastes - the acoustic guitar has been more prevalent.
cheers
