hi everyone!

well what can i say… well let me see.
ok, im disabled with a terminal ultra rare eye destroying condition called choroidaremia (you wouldnt want it, trust me!) which means ive not got much vision left and its decreasing daily (its now noticeable and rather uncomfy!) unlike most eye conditions this affects where light is picked up in your eyes and its not fixable as these areas the nerves attached to them are basically dying off! 😵💫 to look at me i look like nothings wrong as i had over 28 years of no problems as such i still act that way even tho im seeing less and less! the only giveaway is my white stick while im out! (i usually "fly solo" as im still able to see a bit, yes crazy!)
im also my partners main and only carer and have been for 15 years as none of the local agencies will take her on as shes "too complex" for them (and we cant afford the fees even with social services "help!") shes got very bad cp but has a power wheelchair so can just get round, but she needs monitoring 24/7 in case she starts having problems (which agencies refuse to do anything about! they just do 999 and leave, then few days later they all pull out!) hence why im her main carer!) we have an interesting setup between us, im her hands and feet, shes my eyes and indirectly my carer! lol
me personally outside care etc, im trying to experience things i want to before i wake up one day not been able to see anything!
feels from all that (in my own opinion!) that its a sympathy call… far from it! sympathy i dont need, people round who get it and want to help and advise i do want 😊 there are few out there who dont have disabilities who get it (from experience and imho) others just try to bubblewrap you and treat you like you need some weird type of way of dealing with! at least bringing folks into a line of thought that disabled folks arent different, just skilled in a different way of operating in life! if they could experience disabled folks disabilities they would see it looks different but its kinda the same (jeezz that sounds odd!) everyone who's disabled and "normal" would be at the same level in society.
anyway enough blabbing, probably asleep by now! 😂 (btw i have a bit of a terrible sense of humor at times! this one para proves it!)
