I’m migrating to UC , as mentioned before but why does it say I may need an assessment about health . I thought migrating I wouldn’t have this stress . I’m going through more health issues as well which will know more about soon ( possibly have oestarthritis ( sorry if spelt wrong ) . Basically struggling with hip and my knee keeps ballooning and I have a growth on little finger like migrates bone which I know can be a symptom . But I was already getting esa and in support group for severe anxiety /ptsd etc so why would it say I may need an assessment. All I’m seeing is constant horror stories about UC , and I wake up every morning at min with a ball of dread in stomach . Still waiting for them to work out what I’m getting . Thank you for reading .

Problems do happen with migration. Remember though that while you'll probably read about every one of those, you wont read about many more which go absolutely fine with no problems.

Every application to UC is treated as a new application, so the language used is geared up towards new claims.

At the moment the system knows you have health problems from your application, but doesn't yet know you are migrating from ESA which gives automatic entitlement to LCW/LCWRA. It will know this once ESA confirm your previous award and UC process that information.

    It really is that simple.

Aww Okies thank you . I’ve just had a message there saying they paying part of it direct to my landlord ( my rent ) I never asked them too . But I’m wondering if the advisor who came to my house advised them to do that as I’m still trying to sort out debts I have which I told her about ? Could that be the case ? @Kimi87 thank you :)
