If you are claiming Housing Element then UC do need to know who is and who isn't living with you, so your payment is correct.
Otherwise they do generally like to know if you are living with either a dependant or non dependant.

how do I know if I get the housing benefit

Do you rent?
Housing Element will be listed on your payment statement.

I rent but I work as well

Working doesn't have any impact on your entitlement to Housing Element in terms of how many bedrooms you are assessed as needing.
You could try a benefits calculator, filling in details with and without your daughter living with you, to see if any change in award is likely.
If you are now entitled to less Housing Element then this would backdate to the Assessment Period in which your daughter moved out, so there might be an overpayment to repay.
Even though you've had the review, it would be a good idea you to use your Journal to formally report she has moved out.
Use the Report a Change section.

Yes Housing is listed on your statement, so you do get Housing Element.
0 -
so do you get extra of there are 2 adults 1 child living there

I'd recommend using a benefits calculator so you can get the correct answer for your circumstances, link in earlier response.
Fill it in once as though your daughter was still living with you, and once with your current circumstances, to see if there is any difference.

looks like I going to lose over 500 a month not sure why

The benefits calculators are only as good as the information you put into them.
It's likely that your bedroom allowance has decreased, but given your rent cost that seems an excessive amount for your award to go down.
Perhaps it would be worth consulting a trained benefits advisor?
