ESA Support group to UC.

I've just been moved to UC from ESA support group. I had to go to the job centre to identify myself that wasn't fun. i have received an email giving a phone appointment next week, but never got hassled before as i'm in the support group. Is it different on UC? Also, do i have to use this online journal thing they are asking me to check for to do stuff?

Yes you need to log into your UC account regularly and check the To Do list.
I'm guessing the phone appointment is for New Style ESA, please read through this thread for information:

Thanks for that. I'm just as confused. I get income related ESA, but i see a lot of comments about this NS ESA being contribution based. Will my other disability benefits become part of my UC benefit, or do i still get them on NS ESA? I think i'll get my daughter over to do all this for me as i get confused easily. I was hoping my ESA would last until my coming retirement as i knew this would happen.

Many people only find out their ESA award wasn't IR as they thought, but IR +CB after migration it's really common.
PIP is separate to UC.
Your income will be New Style ESA topped up by UC.
New Style ESA is paid at a rate of £281.10 a fortnight, with a monthly equivalent £609.05 deducted from your UC award.

What happens to my other disability payments? I get extra money because i am classed as severely disabled, and the disability income quarantee etc. The total is £244 a week.
i'm in Scotland, so i know my ADP is seperate.

Disability premiums don't exist under Universal Credit.
Transitional Protection is added if your total UC award is lower than legacy benefits at the time of transfer.
TP does erode over time as other elements go up or new elements are added your claim.
Turn2Us have a great guide to TP:
