Pip phone assessment

Good morning everyone
I had a phone call this morning, saying I have a phone assessment on Wednesday. I'm absolutely terrified. My last assessment was paper based and I was given full daily living and standard mobility. I have had lung cancer since and bulging lower spine discs so asked for a change in circumstances for my mobility. I thought I'd supplied enough evidence for all this. Does a phone assessment mean that there isn't enough evidence?
Thank you

It may be that there isn't enough evidence for a paper assessment but it may an oversight. I supported someone to complete a PIP Review form who was very clearly entitled to the enhanced rate of mobility but they still carried out a telephone assessment. It was a short assessment and they focus was very much on her mobility.

Heya @pjc please try not to panic too much. A phone based assessment just means they have some questions they need to ask or some clarification is needed. It's nothing terrible. I'd suggest having a list of important things that you feel need mentioning, that way you wont forget in the heat of the moment. 😊
