Phone call from pip assessor

I did post a previous post on this subject, but since then I have other questions , after a phone call to the people who organise the assessments.
I had a phone call yesterday saying they.had booked a call for Wednesday, which would last 12-20 minutes because the assessor wanted clarification. If they didn't get that it would lead on to a full assessment.
I phoned back to ask if it could be recorded, but they said it wouldn't be as it wasn't a full assessment. I asked what that meant, and they said it had been paper based but they need clarification. Again they said that if they didn't get this it would lead on to a full assessment.
Does anyone understand this please? If it's paper based and they are asking for clarification, how does this lead on to a full assessment? Is this good or bad?
Last assessment was paper based and I got full daily living and standard mobility, I asked for a change in circumstances as my mobility has deteriorated.
I am just really worried about losing what I have . Thank you.

Hi
All it means is that they probably need to clarify a few things with you.
None of us can tell you if its a good or bad sign.

After the telephone call they may feel they have enough information to make a decision, in which case you won't go on to have a full assessment.
If after the telephone call they don't feel they have enough information, a full assessment will go ahead.

@pjc I agree with the replies. You are having a paper based assessment but they need clarification on some points. So they are going to call you for 20 minutes. Answer their questions and that should be it and your decision will be next.
All they are saying if they don't get the clarification they need, they will need to progress a Full assessment, which is understandable. Just answer their questions when they call and you'll be OK.
