Advice with PIP claim

Hi,I have recently undergone major surgery to my colon and now have colostomy bag fitted.I also have COPD.About to start my PIP claim online and hope to get advice in completing.Surgery revealed diverticulitis disease.

The main thing to remember about PIP is that it is about specific tasks & abilities, not about the conditions that you have.

8+ points for a Standard award. 12+ points for an Enhanced award.
If you can add some recent real world examples such as 'Last time I attempted this task…' that adds weight to anything you write. Also be sure to include frequency as PIP is awarded based on at least 50% of days.
There may be a local disability advice service in your area that can offer one to one advive if you would find that useful.
