Blood Test

This was the result of part of my blood test that I had last Thursday. from medical notes
"Serum lipid levels Report, Borderline, Other (qrisk 15% - primary prevention pharmacist please)."
No idea what this means - is it bad ?
Nothing heard from GP or pharmacist …

It is your cholesterol level, I wouldn't worry too much someone will be in touch if they think you need medication.

Looks like your cholesterol levels are bordering on too high @Wibbles A GP or pharmacist will probably call you to discuss preventative measures. Though a QRisk of 10% or more will usually trigger a discussion about statins, which help keep cholesterol under control. But usually they'll discuss lifestyle changes, dietary changes, any genetic history of high cholesterol and such first. It's nothing to panic about, but it is something that will need to be addressed.
I know all this, as I had exactly the same call last week. No chocolate biscuits for lunch for me now! 😆0 -
I'm already on statins Bisoprolol (12.5mg) and Candesartan (12mg) - per day

Ok, gotcha. In that case they'll be looking at follow up steps and will no doubt ask what your diet is like now etc etc.

Those 2 are for blood pressure.
