hi, just want some advice please, i was 20 mins through my change of circumstances telephone assessment for my pip, I have just come out of hospital from having a decompression on my lumbar spine and wanted to keep the appointment so just thought I would carry on with call, but the nurse that was doing my call could tell I could hardly speak with the pain so advised me she will re book and she phoned my Gp to get them to call me, I am worried now incase they don’t do this. The nurse was lovely I spoke to and said she will book it again and that it’s not good for me to carry on because it will take a hour to complete. The Gp receptionist phoned me for gp to phone me at 2pm today so she did phone them for me I am just worried now incase they forget to re book me. Should I just wait or phone to re book it again.

Hi @sc123, sorry to hear you were in so much pain for your call, I hope it all becomes more manageable soon.

It's a good sign that the nurse contacted your GP as she said she would, so hopefully you'll hear about a new appointment for your assessment soon. If you don't hear back within a couple of weeks, you could try checking with the PIP enquiries line to see if they can tell you whether you need to do anything further. Hope it all gets sorted ☺️
