On going award

I recently received an update to my claim after an MR that was forwarded to tribunal. It was sorted and increased by DWP before a tribunal hearing. My husband was just putting away all the paperwork and noticed that although the decision said - I have also decided there will be no need for future reviews and your award will be on going - my award says the award is from 1 April 2025 to 13 March 2028?? Will this mean it will automatically be given for a further period again or does it mean that I have to fill in all the forms again in 2028?? I will be 66 next month so I thought i would get a 10 year light touch if my appeal was successful (but apparently not)?? What does on going award mean?? Thanks

That's a bit of an odd one @Thomo usually ongoing would indeed mean a ten year award. I'd suggest getting in touch with the DWP for some clarification. Though when you're of retirement age, it'll be light touch reviews for sure.
