Hi,
You just need to link your claims together to form one joint claim when you live together.

so it’s easy to do?

Yes. Just report the change through the online journal after you've moved and the claims will get linked together.

Your money will go down because you will be claiming as a couple.

Hi @Abcd1988 and congratulations on moving in with your partner 😊
Here's a link to information about how to make a joint claim . You can also find information on how much you'll get.

You can estimate your joint award using a benefits calculator.

So would my universal credit account close when I move into her house?

You link your existing claims together, and it becomes a couples claim.
If either of you currently receive Transitional Protection, that will end.

sorry to ask another question who gets paid me or her ?

You can choose whether the UC payment goes into a joint bank account, or a one of your individual bank accounts.

I’m on Lcwra or something lol and pip would me moving cause a review or anything?
0 -
PIP isn't impacted by moving or any UC changes.
Moving or going from a single to couple claim won't trigger a LCWRA reassessment.
