Pip MC

It’s been 6 weeks since Dwp received my pip mandatory reconsideration. I got 6 points on daily living which was frustrating. The assessor said I would benefit from an aid for undressing but then scored me 0 points on dressing and undressing.. isn’t this a contradiction? I also expressed how I always struggle with budgeting and that I’m in debt because of it and my rent is paid for me so that’s managed for me. I have a caseworker from citizens advise who also sent a supporting letter originally stating I struggle to manage finances but scored 0 on budgeting. do you think it will go in my favour? Also how long has everyone else waited recently for a decision?

Hi @sparkle2025 and welcome to the community. I completely understand your frustration. I think this information might be useful for you . The DWP says it can take up to 2 months to get the result of a mandatory reconsideration but it can take a lot longer. I wouldn't be able to say whether or not the decision would be in your favour but if you are scored zero again you can go to tribunal. The link I included has information about appealing the decision and what happens at tribunal. I hope you're not waiting too much longer. 0
