Hey there @SallyE65 and it's a warm welcome from me too!

Getting an appointment with a GP these days does seem very tricky. I have to be on the phone dead on 8am or I'll have no chance of getting an appointment.

Hi @SallyE65 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

Wow 45kg dog!! I'm intrigued, what breed of dog is that?

It's very hard down here as well to get an appointment, you have to ring at 8am on the dot and even then you're still in a big queue!!

    Hello Sally,

I am lucky if i get anything in a two week window, they always say they are completely booked up, so ring every morning for any cancellations…..😣

My GP has an online service which is always fully booked up. Once I was OK, just re-ordering meds, but there was an appointment for about 8 weeks in the future. I was half tempted to book it thinking I may well develop something by the time it comes round 😆

We have to fill in online form then get a call back, which can take days.

Nobody gets a face to face unless the GP thinks it necessary.
